Role Description The Gold Loan Officer is a full time, on-site role based in Raipur, responsible for managing end-to-end gold loan operations and customer service at the branch. The role includes assessing and appraising gold ornaments for collateral, processing loan applications, ensuring accurate documentation, and adhering to internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The Gold Loan Officer will handle cash and vault operations related to gold loans, monitor overdue accounts, follow up with customers, and support recovery processes while maintaining high levels of integrity and security. The role also involves educating customers on gold loan products, cross-selling relevant financial products,



and contributing to branch business targets through effective relationship management and local market outreach. Collaboration with branch staff and adherence to compliance, audit, and risk-management standards are core aspects of the position. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong customer service and relationship management skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, handle queries, and build trust with diverse customers.
• Candidates should possess basic financial and lending operations skills, such as understanding loan processes, documentation, interest calculations, and repayment schedules.
• Candidates should possess gold appraisal and handling skills, including careful evaluation of gold ornaments, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and security protocols.
• Candidates should possess sales and cross-selling abilities, with comfort in meeting branch-level business targets and promoting relevant loan and insurance products responsibly.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with basic computer applications and branch banking systems, including data entry, record-keeping, and use of internal loan management software.
• Candidates should possess strong integrity, ethical conduct, and compliance awareness, with readiness to follow RBI guidelines, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Relevant experience in gold loans, retail lending, or NBFC/banking operations is highly beneficial, along with knowledge of the local Raipur market.
