Learning and Development (L&D;) Manager – Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), New Delhi Overall Purpose of the Role This is a highly responsible, professional position that requires the candidate to work both independently and collaboratively, playing a key role in looking after students' overall development and supporting the Employability team.
• Ensure successful delivery of the L&D; Plan and monitor student performance every term
• Counsel and motivate students and drive the Student Mentoring Program at FIIB
• Assess training needs through student interactions, focus groups, or consultation with the placement department, faculty mentors, and industry representatives Roles and Responsibilities The person will be in charge of the Learning and Development processes and will work closely with students and with academic and non-academic colleagues, ensuring that every student leaves the campus equipped with employability skills and a growth-oriented mindset. Key Result Areas
• Design, plan, organize, or direct orientation and Career Preparatory Programs for students in coordination with the Employability team for continuous student assessment
• Offer specific training programs to help students maintain or improve employability skills
• Suggest and deliver training programs through experiential pedagogies, aiming for higher student engagement
• Develop and track student training effectiveness




• Mentor students for personal grooming and placement support
• Stay updated with the latest AI tools for student learning support
• Introduce solutions/platforms for student training and knowledge enhancement
• Obtain, organize, or develop training manuals, guides, or course materials
• Maintain student performance records and report L&D; programs to the Employability team
• Identify, engage, and build long-term relationships with trainers, partners, and industry experts for training, activities, and events
• Execute training programs as per the Academic Calendar and collect continuous student feedback to improve effectiveness Experience 2 to 3 years of outstanding training experience, preferably in an institute, college, or university, along with strong communication and leadership effectiveness. Applicants with similar experience in a corporate or related industry and a strong track record may also be considered. Desired Skills
• Excellent English communication

• Skilled in assessment of students
• Comfortable using digital tools or LMS
