Role Description The EPC Solar Project General Manager Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for leading the overall planning and delivery of utility-scale solar EPC projects. This position oversees project lifecycle management, including design review, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with clients, vendors, and contractors, and resolving technical and operational issues in the field. The General Manager Head develops and implements project execution strategies, monitors performance using KPIs, and drives continuous improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency. Daily responsibilities also include risk management, regulatory and compliance oversight, reporting to senior leadership, and supporting business development with technical inputs and proposals. Qualifications
• Strong project management and leadership skills,



including experience overseeing large EPC or infrastructure projects, managing cross-functional teams, and driving delivery against timelines and budgets.
• Technical expertise in solar power plant engineering and construction, with knowledge of PV technologies, balance of plant (BoP), grid connectivity, substation and transmission systems, and relevant codes and standards.
• Experience in site execution and operations, including contractor management, resource planning, construction supervision, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and health, safety, and environment (HSE) practices.
• Commercial and contractual skills, such as understanding EPC contracts, tendering, cost estimation, negotiation, vendor management, and risk assessment for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in project planning and monitoring tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar), and comfort with using data and reports to track progress and make decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with capacity to collaborate effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, suppliers, and internal leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering; a master’s degree or MBA in a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience in solar EPC at a senior management level, preferably in utility-scale or large industrial projects within India.
• Willingness to work in office in Jaipur and travel to project locations as required; strong problem-solving mindset and
