To program, operate, and monitor robotic welding systems, ensuring quality production, minimum cycle time, and effective utilization of robotic welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities
• Program, operate, and troubleshoot robotic welding systems such as ABB, Yaskawa, and Collaborative Robots (Cobot).
• Develop and modify robot programs for MIG and TIG welding applications.
• Set up welding parameters such as voltage, current, wire feed speed, and welding speed.
• Perform robot teaching, TCP calibration, tool calibration, and touch-up programming.
• Understand robot coordinates, reference points, and welding paths.
• Operate robotic welding machines as per production requirements.
• Identify and rectify welding defects such as porosity, undercut, spatter, and improper weld joints.
• Ensure proper fixture setting, component positioning, and welding accuracy.
• Monitor robot performance and maintain cycle time and productivity.
• Troubleshoot robot alarms, welding faults, and program-related issues.




• Perform preventive maintenance and daily inspection of robotic welding equipment.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets. Skills Required
• ABB / Yaskawa / Cobot robot programming and operation.
• MIG / TIG robotic welding knowledge.
• Robot teaching and offline/online programming.
• TCP calibration and tool centre point setting.
• Welding parameter setting and optimization.
• Robot troubleshooting and error rectification.
• Knowledge of welding fixtures and jigs.
• Knowledge of welding quality standards. Qualification
• Relevant experience in robotic welding programming and operation. Experience
• 3–8 years of experience in robotic welding programming and operation.
• Hands-on experience in ABB / Yaskawa / Cobot welding systems preferred. Immediate Joiners Prefered
