Responsibilities:
Skills Critical Tasks
• Strategy:
• Plan and prioritize maintenance activities in alignment with production targets and plant schedules.
• Identify critical equipment and prepare preventive maintenance strategies accordingly.
• Execution:
• Supervise maintenance tasks, monitor equipment health, and coordinate quick breakdown resolutions.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance measures to minimize downtime.
• Allocate manpower, tools, and materials effectively for maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate shutdowns, overhauls, and major repairs within area of responsibility. 3 . Governance
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and equipment history.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance SOPs, and statutory norms.
• Monitor and control maintenance costs within assigned budgets.
• People
• Lead, guide, and develop maintenance teams within the area.




• Conduct toolbox talks (TBT) and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
• Act as a point of contact between mechanical maintenance and other departments for area-specific issues. 5 .
Technology
• Use SAP/ERP systems for job tracking, material requests, and data logging.
