Role Description

The Accounting Intern will support the finance and accounting team with daily operational tasks in our Gurugram office. This full-time, in office role includes assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, helping with account reconciliations, and supporting the creation and review of basic financial statements. The intern will contribute to processing journal entries, organizing documentation for audits and compliance,



and updating records in accounting software under supervision. Daily responsibilities also involve data entry, basic financial analysis, and collaborating with team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting. The role offers hands-on exposure to accounting processes within a fast-paced start-up environment.

Qualifications

- Ability to work with Financial Statements and basic Finance concepts to support reporting and analysis.
- Familiarity with Accounting Software and comfort with digital tools and spreadsheets.
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret numerical data and identify discrepancies or trends.
- Understanding of Journal Entries (Accounting) and fundamental bookkeeping practices.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team setting.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt in a dynamic startup environment.
