Obsidian Six values innovation, collaboration, and high-quality visual storytelling across all client work. Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Video Editor at Obsidian Six. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and other digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and creative direction. Day-to-day tasks include organizing footage, assembling rough and final cuts, applying color grading, adding motion graphics and titles, and preparing files for delivery across multiple platforms. The role also involves collaborating with creative and marketing teams to refine concepts, incorporate feedback, and optimize videos for target audiences and formats. The Video Editor will manage project timelines, maintain organized asset libraries,



and contribute to continuous improvement of video production workflows. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling footage from concept to final output.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual style and high-quality image presentation.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual elements.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are required.
• Experience editing content for digital marketing, social media platforms, or agency environments is a plus.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are important.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant video editing and motion graphics work is highly preferred.
