Role Description The Social Media Manager internship at Chippy Split is a remote role focused on growing and engaging our online community across key social platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and publishing social content, managing posting schedules, and monitoring channels for comments, messages, and discussions. The intern will assist in developing and executing social media campaigns, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, and aligning content with the brand’s voice and goals. This role will also involve tracking basic performance metrics, sharing insights with the team,



and collaborating with product and marketing stakeholders to support feature launches and announcements. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan, execute, and refine platform-specific campaigns.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to create transparent, engaging, and brand-aligned social content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy to help shape calendars, themes, and campaigns that support overall marketing objectives.
• Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Reddit, X/Twitter, LinkedIn) and basic analytics tools is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team.
• Interest in fintech, personal finance, or consumer apps is a plus, as is prior experience with social media for a brand, club, or project.
• Current enrolment in or recent completion of a program in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred but not required.
