Role Description The Accounts Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, with an expected joining date within 15 days. The role involves supporting day-to-day accounting activities, including managing petty cash, assisting with ledger entries, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts. The Accounts Assistant will help with credit control tasks such as tracking outstanding payments, following up with clients, and preparing basic financial reports. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams and external partners for documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company finance procedures.



This position requires consistent communication with the finance team and timely completion of assigned tasks to support smooth accounting operations. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including basic bookkeeping, invoice processing, and account reconciliation.
• Basic accounting in tally. Billing, Invoice booking, expense booking, trip costing etc.
• Knowledge of TDS, GST working and return filing
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with internal teams, external stakeholders, and support documentation clarity.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software tools, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Relevant academic background in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (e.g., B.
Com or equivalent) is preferred.
• Ability to work in office in Mumbai, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related industry will be an added advantage.
