Job Description – Senior Sales Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Senior Sales Executive to drive sales and business development for our Decorative Laminates (Mica) division in Idukki. The candidate will be responsible for developing dealer relationships, expanding market coverage, generating new business, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for decorative laminates (mica).
- Develop new dealers and distributors and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage across Idukki.
- Regularly visit laminate dealers, plywood dealers, retailers, and other channel partners.
- Generate new leads, follow up on enquiries, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Drive primary and secondary sales and ensure consistent product movement.
- Promote company products and improve brand visibility in the assigned territory.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
- Coordinate with the reporting manager and head office regarding orders, stock availability, dispatches, and customer complaints.
- Prepare daily sales reports, market visit reports,



and periodic sales performance updates.
- Maintain good customer relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term growth.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in decorative laminates (mica), plywood, or the wood panel industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Idukki market and local dealer network preferred.
- Good communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new customers.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Two-wheeler and a valid driving licence preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in the decorative laminates or plywood industry.
- Existing contacts with laminate dealers, plywood dealers, and retailers in Idukki.
- Ability to independently manage the territory and develop new business.
- Strong focus on sales growth, customer satisfaction, and payment collection.

Compensation

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and market exposure.
