- Receive used surgical instruments and medical equipment from various departments.
- Perform cleaning and decontamination of instruments using approved methods.
- Ensure proper segregation and handling of contaminated instruments.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, damage, and functionality before packing.
- Perform proper packing, labelling, and preparation of instruments for sterilization.
- Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment as per established SOPs.
- Monitor and record physical, chemical, and biological indicators of sterilization.
- Maintain sterilization cycle records and equipment maintenance logs.
- Ensure proper storage and distribution of sterilized instruments.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the CSSD department.




- Follow infection prevention and control practices and biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while handling contaminated materials.
- Report equipment malfunction, sterilization failures, and other deviations to the CSSD in charge.
- Maintain stock of sterilization materials, packing materials, and consumables.
- Ensure traceability of sterilized items and maintain necessary documentation.
- Participate in departmental training, audits, and quality improvement activities.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
