We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented Hindi Content Writer with a deep passion for journalism and flawless command over the Hindi language. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing engaging news articles, features, editorials, and special reports for our daily newspaper print editions and digital platforms.

​Key Responsibilities

- ​News Gathering & Reporting: Cover local, national, regional, or beat-specific news (e.g., Politics, Crime, Business, Entertainment, Sports, or Lifestyle) by attending press conferences, conducting interviews, and verifying sources.
- ​Article Writing & Editing: Write clear, compelling, and grammatically correct news stories, opinion pieces, features, and headlines in standard Hindi.
- ​Translation: Accurately translate press releases, agency copies (PTI/IANS), and breaking news from English to Hindi without losing context or tone.
- ​Print & Digital Integration: Adapt stories seamlessly for both print layout deadlines and digital/social media publishing (SEO-friendly headings, bullet points, and captions).
- ​Fact-Checking: Ensure absolute factual accuracy, adherence to journalistic ethics, and compliance with press laws.
- ​Collaboration: Work closely with sub-editors, photographers, layout designers,



and senior editors to plan daily editions and special supplements.

​Requirements & Qualifications

- ​Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Hindi Literature, or a related field.
- ​Experience: [1-4] years of proven experience working as a Content Writer, Journalist, or Sub-Editor in a Hindi daily newspaper, magazine, or prominent news portal.
- ​Language Proficiency:
- ​Impeccable command of written and spoken Hindi (journalistic style).
- ​Strong reading and comprehension skills in English.
- ​Technical Skills:
- ​Proficiency in Hindi typing tools (Mangal Font, Kruti Dev, InScript, or Unicode).
- ​Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and basic digital publishing.
- ​Soft Skills: Strong news sense, ability to thrive under high-pressure print deadlines, excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
