Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Chemistry

Job Responsibilities

- Teach Chemistry to students of Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and question papers.
- Explain Chemistry concepts, chemical reactions, equations, and practical experiments in a simple and effective manner.
- Conduct laboratory practicals while ensuring proper safety measures.
- Prepare students for school examinations, board examinations, and competitive examinations.
- Evaluate answer sheets, assignments, and practical records, and provide feedback to students.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide additional support wherever required.
- Maintain discipline and encourage active participation in the classroom.
- Maintain students' attendance, academic records, and other required documentation.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and other academic activities.

Educational Qualification

- Master's Degree (M.Sc.)



in Chemistry or an equivalent relevant qualification from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution, as applicable under CBSE recruitment requirements.

Experience

- Previous teaching experience at the senior secondary level is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and valuable teaching skills may also apply.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Chemistry and the CBSE curriculum.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex topics in simple language.
- Practical laboratory knowledge and safety awareness.
- Good student-handling and time-management skills.
