Job Description

We are seeking experienced English Linguistic Experts to join a cutting-edge AI research project in partnership with a leading research lab.

This role centers on evaluating how effectively a large language model (LLM) performs in English-language tasks and on curating high-quality English linguistic data to train and improve the model's understanding and generation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate the quality and accuracy of LLM-generated English text across various use cases (e.g., translation, summarization, dialogue, grammar correction).
- Edit, refine, or rewrite English content to meet linguistic and cultural standards.
- Annotate English text for grammatical, syntactic, and semantic features.
- Identify model errors and language gaps, and collaborate with AI researchers to improve LLM performance.
- Provide detailed linguistic feedback and analysis to guide ongoing model training efforts. You're a Strong Fit If You Have
- Native or near-native fluency in English, with excellent command over grammar, syntax, and stylistics.
- Professional experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in English.
- Robust understanding of linguistic nuances, regional variations, and context-appropriate usage.
- Interest in AI and LLM-driven language technologies (preferred but not required).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors or unnatural phrasing.

Contract and Payment Terms

- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
- Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
- Your work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
- Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.

Pay: From ₹9,900.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
