Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Transformer Design Engineer with experience in designing power and distribution transformers. The candidate will be responsible for electrical design calculations, preparation of technical drawings, selection of materials, and ensuring compliance with applicable IEC/IS standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical designs for power and distribution transformers.

Perform transformer design calculations, including voltage ratio, current, impedance, losses, efficiency, and temperature rise.

Calculate core dimensions, flux density, winding turns, conductor size, insulation requirements, and winding arrangements.





Prepare electrical design sheets, winding data, BOMs, and technical documentation.

Select suitable core materials, copper/aluminium conductors, insulation materials, and other electrical components.

Coordinate with production, quality control, testing, and procurement departments.

Review customer specifications and prepare technical offers and design documents.

Ensure designs comply with relevant IS/IEC standards and applicable customer requirements.

Support routine and type testing, troubleshoot design-related issues, and implement corrective actions.

Optimize transformer design for cost, performance, material utilization, and manufacturing feasibility.

Revise designs based on customer feedback, test results, and engineering changes.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month
