Job Title: Control System Engineer

Experience: 8 to 14 Years

Location: Bengaluru

Roles & Responsibilities

- Provide process control, control systems, and automation engineering support for refining, petrochemical, renewable fuels, or complex process manufacturing facilities.

- Support Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and PLC-based control platforms.

- Work on control system changes, Management of Change (MOC), testing, validation, commissioning support, and technical documentation.

- Interpret P&IDs;, control narratives, process trends, operating procedures, interlocks, alarm documentation, and cause-and-effect logic.

- Support alarm management, controller performance improvement, control system reliability, and process safety initiatives.

- Analyze process data, identify control issues, and recommend practical engineering solutions.

- Coordinate with Operations, Process Control, Automation, Instrumentation, Engineering, and remote site teams.

- Maintain accurate engineering records, communicate project updates, and ensure timely completion of deliverables and action items.





- Follow operational excellence, safety standards, change control procedures, and engineering best practices.

Requisites
- BE / B.Tech in Engineering.

- Hands-on experience with DCS, SIS, or PLC-based control systems.

- Preferred experience with Emerson DeltaV, DeltaV SIS, and Allen-Bradley PLCs.

- Knowledge of MOC, change control, testing, validation, and commissioning processes.

- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, control narratives, interlocks, alarm documentation, and process trends.

- Robust understanding of process safety, operational excellence, reliability, and alarm management.

- Experience in petroleum refining, petrochemicals, renewable fuels, or other process manufacturing industries.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and communication skills.

- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and remote site stakeholders.

- Strong ownership, follow-up, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
