Chartered Accountant – International Sea Freight Forwarding

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with robust expertise in international accounting, freight forwarding, taxation, and cross-border financial transactions. Candidates must have hands-on experience in the sea freight forwarding industry and international business operations, including foreign currency payments, shipping line transactions, export GST, and EXIM compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage international accounting and foreign currency transactions, including USD payments.

Handle shipping line payments, freight cost reconciliation, and vendor settlements.

Manage export GST, international GST transactions, and EXIM-related compliance.

Ensure compliance with DTAA, payments to non-residents, and applicable international accounting standards.

Handle invoicing, financial reporting, audits, and statutory compliance.





Work with international trade documentation and Incoterms.

Support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for international business operations.

Mandatory Requirements

Qualification in CA / CMA / CS / MBA Finance.

Relevant experience in sea freight forwarding and international business operations is mandatory.

Strong hands-on experience in international accounting and foreign currency transactions.

Practical knowledge of shipping line payments, export GST, EXIM procedures, and international taxation.

Understanding of DTAA, IFRS/GAAP, Incoterms, and cross-border payments.

Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.

Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Important: Candidates without relevant freight forwarding experience and international business exposure will not be considered.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
