Fully Remote Engagement Type: Contract Compensation: ₹60,000 – ₹70,000/month Tutedude is looking for an expert guitarist to create and deliver a Guitar Instrument course. The course will take complete beginners, including people who have never held a guitar, and turn them into confident players who can play their favourite songs, strum and pick cleanly, and perform with friends or on stage. This role is focused on content creation. Your main job will be to design the curriculum, record video lessons and build practical learning experiences for learners. Responsibilities
* Design a structured guitar curriculum from absolute beginner to intermediate/advanced level.
* Record high-quality, hands-on video lessons with clear close-up shots of both the fretting and strumming hands.
* Cover the fundamentals: holding the guitar, tuning, posture, open chords, barre chords, strumming patterns, fingerpicking, scales, rhythm and timing.
* Teach music theory in a simple, practical way: chord construction, keys, the CAGED system, the major and pentatonic scales, and how to read chord charts and tabs.
* Teach popular songs across genres, including Bollywood, Indian indie, pop, rock and acoustic, so learners stay motivated.
* Create practice routines, assignments and play-along exercises,



along with a final capstone such as a full song performance or a simple original composition.
* Include modules on lead guitar basics, improvisation, simple songwriting, and playing and singing together.
* Keep the course engaging, beginner-friendly and current with what learners want to play. Ideal Candidate
* Has 4+ years of guitar playing experience with strong command of both acoustic and electric guitar.
* Has 2+ years of experience teaching guitar to students of different ages and skill levels, either one-on-one or in groups.
* Has a strong understanding of music theory and can explain it simply to someone with no musical background.
* Can play across multiple genres, especially Bollywood, acoustic pop and rock.
* Plays rhythm and lead guitar cleanly, with good technique, timing and tone.
* Can break songs down into simple, step-by-step lessons beginners can follow.
* Is comfortable independently recording professional-quality video lessons with clear audio, good lighting and multiple camera angles. Preferred Qualifications
* A formal certification (Trinity College London, Rockschool or similar) or a degree in music is a solid advantage.
* Experience creating online music content (YouTube, Instagram or online courses) with an existing audience is a plus.
* Live performance or studio recording experience is a plus.
* Familiarity with a DAW (FL Studio, Logic Pro, Ableton or Reaper) and basic audio recording or production is a plus.
* Ability to sing and play, or to teach singing along with guitar, is a plus. Who Should Apply?
