Hybrid / Remote Shift: 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM IST Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced KDB/Q Developer with strong expertise in real-time data processing, time-series databases, and financial market applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing high-performance KDB solutions, with Java development experience highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance KDB/Q applications for real-time and historical market data.
• Develop efficient Q queries, data models, and time-series analytics.
• Work with KDB Tick Architecture, including Tickerplant, RDB, and HDB.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines, ETL processes, and integrations.
• Optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions. Required

Skills:




• 5+ years of hands-on KDB/Q development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Q programming, KDB Tick Architecture, RDB, HDB, and Tickerplant.
• Experience with real-time market data, time-series databases, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and capital markets.
• Knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Robust analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills
• Java development experience – Core Java, Multithreading, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and KDB/Java integration.
• Exposure to Python, Kafka, or C++.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Experience in Investment Banking or Financial Services. Ideal Candidate: A strong KDB/Q specialist experienced in building scalable, low-latency financial data systems, preferably with hands-on Java development expertise.
