Role Description The Articled Student internship role is an on-site position based in Pune. The role involves supporting audit and assurance assignments, assisting in tax computations and return preparation, and helping with documentation for mergers, acquisitions, and other advisory engagements. The Articled Student will be expected to perform research on accounting, auditing, and taxation matters, prepare working papers and schedules, and maintain organized client files and records.



Daily tasks also include coordinating with team members and clients under supervision, adhering to professional standards and deadlines, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. Qualifications
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic taxation concepts.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with accounting or ERP software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including ability to draft clear working papers and emails.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple assignments responsibly.
• Enrollment in Chartered Accountancy program (IPCC/Intermediate cleared or as per applicable regulations) or equivalent professional course.
• High level of integrity, professional ethics, and willingness to learn in a structured training workplace.
• Interest in audit, taxation, and advisory services, with readiness to work on-site in Pune throughout the internship period.
