Role Description The venture capital professional at Probby will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in frontier AI and related cognitive infrastructure. This full-time, in office role in Faridabad involves conducting market and technical diligence on potential investments, building financial models, and preparing investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The role includes developing and maintaining relationships with founders, researchers, and ecosystem partners, as well as tracking portfolio performance and supporting portfolio companies with strategic guidance.



The individual will collaborate closely with the leadership and research teams to align investment theses with Probby’s mission and long-term strategy, contribute to fundraising activities, and represent Probby at relevant conferences and industry events. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in venture capital or private equity, including experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring.
• Background in technology, AI, or data-driven businesses, with the ability to understand and evaluate complex technical concepts in collaboration with research teams.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, valuation, and modeling, along with clear, concise investment writing for memos and presentations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with founders, investors, and academic partners.
• Structured problem-solving capabilities, analytical mindset, and sound judgment when assessing risk and opportunity in early-stage ventures.
• Ability to work on-site in Faridabad, collaborate across disciplines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; prior exposure to AI or deep tech investing is an advantage.
• Demonstrated integrity, commitment to non-discriminatory practices, and interest in the ethical alignment and long-term impact of frontier AI.
