With a growing D2C presence, we are now expanding into Modern Trade, General Trade, E-commerce and Quick Commerce. Our immediate priority is to build a strong retail and distribution network across South India.

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Distribution Manager to lead Divine Hindu's retail and distribution expansion across South India. Your mission: Make Divine Hindu products widely available across South India's leading retail chains, supermarkets, spiritual stores, gifting outlets and online platforms. Markets you will build:
• Karnataka: Bengaluru, Mysuru and other key markets
• Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and other key markets
• Telangana: Hyderabad and surrounding markets
• Andhra Pradesh: Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and other major cities
• Kerala: Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and other key markets

Key Responsibilities
1. Modern Trade Expansion
• Secure product listings with DMart, Reliance Smart Bazaar, Lulu Hypermarket, SPAR, More, Star Bazaar, Nilgiris and other leading South regional chains.
• Build direct relationships with category buyers and retail decision-makers.
• Negotiate listing fees, margins, promotions and commercial terms.
• Drive product placement,



in-store visibility, replenishment and sell-through. 2. General Trade & Distribution
• Appoint and manage distributors, super-stockists and retailers across all five South states.
• Expand into supermarkets, spiritual stores, jewellery and gifting outlets.
• Identify high-potential cities and execute market-entry plans.
• Build scalable, repeatable distribution processes. 3. E-commerce & Quick Commerce
• Support presence on Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart in South cities.
• Coordinate onboarding, assortment, pricing, promotions and inventory planning.
• Align online and offline distribution for consistent availability. 4. Sales Tracking & Growth
• Own regional sales targets and channel profitability.
• Develop trade schemes, pricing structures and retail-specific assortments.
• Track primary sales, secondary sales, inventory movement and channel performance.
• Build and manage a regional sales team as the business scales. Requirements
• 5–10 years of experience in Modern Trade, General Trade, FMCG Sales, Retail Distribution or Key Account Management.
• Existing relationships with modern-trade buyers, distributors and retailers in South India.
• Proven experience securing listings in major retail chains such as DMart, Reliance Smart Bazaar,



Lulu or SPAR.
• Demonstrated ability to appoint distributors and build retail networks from scratch.
• Experience launching or expanding consumer brands in new regional markets.
• Strong negotiation, commercial planning and sales management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
• Knowledge of South regional markets and languages (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam) is an added advantage. What We're Looking For We are not looking for someone who has only managed existing retail accounts. We want an expansion-focused professional who has personally:
