Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Paintshop Operation Process and Maintenance Engineer. The role involves overseeing daily paintshop operations, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring process parameters are maintained for quality, safety, and efficiency. The engineer will plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities, diagnose equipment issues, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime. Responsibilities include optimizing paintshop processes, implementing continuous improvement initiatives,



supporting root cause analysis for defects or failures, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. The role also requires close collaboration with production, quality, and engineering teams, as well as documenting maintenance activities, maintaining technical records, and supporting new equipment installation and commissioning. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong maintenance and reliability skills, including Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Management.
• Candidates should possess core technical expertise, including Electrical Engineering and related industrial automation knowledge.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving abilities, including Troubleshooting and root cause analysis in manufacturing environments.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience in automotive paintshop operations, surface finishing, or industrial facilities maintenance is highly beneficial.
• Working knowledge of safety standards, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Kaizen is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings, use diagnostic tools, and work in a fast-paced, shift-based manufacturing workplace.
