Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Evaluate visual acuity and identify refractive errors.
• Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses within the permitted scope of practice.
• Identify signs of ocular abnormalities and refer patients to ophthalmologists when required.
• Provide professional advice on eye health, vision correction and preventive care.
• Perform contact lens fitting and follow-up assessments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and professional ethics. Eligibility Requirements
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant clinical or optical practice experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of optometry procedures and diagnostic equipment.




• Good patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team.
• Candidates must hold qualifications eligible for registration with Singapore's Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB).
