Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Tiruchirappalli for an experienced Psychiatric Social Worker & Psychologist. The professional in this position will conduct comprehensive psychosocial and psychological assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy to clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include offering one-on-one and family sessions, facilitating group interventions where appropriate, and supporting clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, addiction, and other behavioral health concerns. The role involves ongoing case management, documentation of clinical progress, coordination with other mental health and medical professionals as needed, and adherence to ethical and legal standards of practice.



The professional is expected to contribute to a supportive, non-judgmental environment and participate in supervision, case discussions, and continuous learning activities. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Mental Health and Behavioral Health, with experience in counseling individuals, couples, and families.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Social Work and Case Management, including psychosocial assessment, resource linkage, and follow-up support.
• Ability to design and implement effective Treatment Planning aligned with client needs and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Social Work, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Social Work, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• Relevant professional registration or licensure (where applicable) and adherence to ethical guidelines and confidentiality requirements.
• Experience with CBT and other structured therapies, crisis intervention, and managing complex psychosocial and relationship issues.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and rapport-building skills, with a non-judgmental, inclusive, and culturally sensitive approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate clinical records, and manage a consistent caseload.
• Comfort working with diverse populations, including clients from different backgrounds and those in same-sex relationships.
• Prior experience in a counseling centre, hospital, or community mental health setting is highly desirable.
