Role Description The Senior System Analyst is a full-time remote role responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing Taxcart’s systems and integrations. This role involves gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams, and ensuring that tax calculation workflows are accurate and efficient. The Senior System Analyst will review system performance, identify issues, and coordinate troubleshooting and resolution efforts across environments and integrations. Typical responsibilities include creating and maintaining documentation, supporting implementation projects, performing impact and gap analyses, and contributing to process improvements and best practices.



The person in this role will also help define standards for system configuration, support testing and quality assurance activities, and provide insights to improve scalability and reliability. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Systems Analysis and Business Analysis skills to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge, including familiarity with APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud-based platforms.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose system issues, propose resolutions, and coordinate fixes with technical teams.
• Experience in enterprise software, financial technology, or tax/ERP systems is beneficial.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in a senior or lead system analyst role, ideally in a remote, distributed work workplace.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
