Role Description This full-time Interior Designer role at Homescapes.
Inc is a hybrid position based in Jalandhar, with flexibility for some work-from-home. The Interior Designer will collaborate on luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial projects, contributing to concept development, space planning, and interior layouts that align with client needs and the studio’s design standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design presentations, mood boards, and material palettes; coordinating FF&E; selections; and developing detailed drawings and specifications in collaboration with the architecture and construction teams. The role involves site visits for measurements, supervision of implementation, coordination with vendors and contractors,



and ensuring design quality and consistency throughout project execution. The Interior Designer will also support client meetings, gather feedback, and refine design solutions to deliver cohesive, functional, and visually compelling spaces. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills to create functional, aesthetically refined layouts and cohesive design concepts.
• Candidates should possess foundational Architecture knowledge to collaborate effectively on integrated architectural and interior solutions.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in developing Construction Drawings to communicate design intent clearly to contractors and project teams.
• Candidates should possess expertise in FF&E; selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and materials that align with project goals.
• Candidates should possess strong CAD and 3D visualization skills (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and competency in presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office).
• Candidates should possess effective communication, client-facing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and vendors.
• Candidates should possess relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in luxury residential or hospitality design is highly beneficial.
• Candidates should possess robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
