Critical Skills To Possess
• Bachelor’s degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications will be advantageous.
• 5-8 years of proven experience in roles related to data governance, data management, or information management.
• Demonstrated experience in working with data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures with previous experience in implementing metadata management practices.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific compliance standards.
• Strong analytical skills to identify data-related issues and propose effective solutions using specialized data governance tools, Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar.




• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable and comprehensive data governance policies.
• Knowledge of establishing explicit data ownership and stewardship responsibilities.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data quality assessment processes.
• Understanding of data security principles and experience implementing data security measures.
• Knowledge of access controls, encryption, and data masking techniques. Preferred Qualifications
• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
