About the role:Welodata is seeking detail-driven Bilingual Metadata Specialists to help elevate the quality of products and experiences used by global audiences. In this role, you will evaluate the quality of written and spoken content, review and create metadata for Music and TV applications, and collaborate with international teams to monitor and improve product quality and partner data integrations. Project Details:Job Title: Bilingual Metadata Specialist Duration: 12 Months contract with possible extension Working Hours / Schedule: 8 hours shift (1pm - 9:30pm IST including 30 minutes break )Work Days: Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–ThursdayLocation: Remote- IndiaPay rate/Yearly Salary: 6.5 LPAWhat you’ll bring Business-level communication skills in English, along with strong fluency and cultural understanding of your second language1+ year of experience in Quality Assurance (QA), data analysis, localization, content operations, or a related fieldAdvanced spreadsheet expertise, including formulas, data analysis, filtering, and pivot tablesStrong understanding of technical terminology and industry-specific language trendsFamiliarity with smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, streaming platforms, and connected devicesExceptional attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality resultsStrong organizational and time-management skills,



with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentA proactive, self-motivated mindset and the ability to adapt to evolving processes and requirementsPassion for entertainment, media, film, television, and digital content, with a keen interest in current industry trendsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend improvementsComfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within global and cross-functional teamsWhat you’ll do :Execute functional and linguistic QA by accurately following testing instructions and test cases Adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, checklists, and glossaries Review, create, and validate metadata for film, TV, and music content Log, track, and prioritize issues; provide transparent, actionable feedback Meet productivity and quality targets while handling repetitive tasks Make informed judgment calls in ambiguous situations and escalate risks as needed Collaborate closely with cross-functional, international teams Ensure cultural and linguistic relevance for your target locale Communicate clearly in both spoken and written form Nice to haveExperience with localization tools, bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA), or CMS platformsKnowledge of media metadata standards for film/TV and musicBasic scripting or automation familiarity
