Hiring: Live-In Nanny in Amritsar, Punjab

Position: Full-Time, Live-In Nanny

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced nanny to care for our two young children during a five-month stay in Amritsar.

Our children are Canadian, aged 3 years and 7 months, so the ability to communicate comfortably in English is essential. We are looking for someone warm, patient, trustworthy, and experienced with both toddlers and infants.

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive, loving, and age-appropriate care for both children.
- Care for the baby, including feeding, diaper changes, naps, and maintaining a consistent routine.
- Engage the toddler in play, reading, creative activities, and other age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Help maintain the children's daily routines, including meals, playtime, and bedtime.
- Keep the children's belongings, toys, and feeding areas clean and organized.
- Prioritize the children's safety, comfort, hygiene, and well-being at all times.

Requirements

- Fluent spoken English is a must.
- Previous experience caring for infants and toddlers, ideally both age groups.
- A caring, patient, reliable, and responsible personality.
- Knowledge of infant care, hygiene, feeding routines, and safe sleep practices.




- Ability to adapt to the family's routine and travel requirements.
- References from previous employers are preferred.

Live-In Arrangement & Travel

This is a live-in position for the full five-month contract. Accommodation will be provided.

The role may include travel with the family to destinations within India and potentially abroad. All travel, accommodation, and related travel expenses will be covered by the family. The nanny must be comfortable travelling with the family as needed.

Contract Details

- Five-month commitment, starting mid-November 2026.
- Full-time childcare position.
- Live-in accommodation provided.
