- Read and understand marine piping drawings, isometric drawings and P&ID; diagrams.
- Fabricate, install, assemble and repair various types of shipboard piping systems.
- Perform pipe cutting, grinding, beveling, bending and fitting as per drawings.
- Install and align pipes, valves, flanges, fittings and supports.
- Work with different pipe materials, including MS, SS, GI and copper pipes.
- Perform pipe fitting for hydraulic, fuel, cooling water, ballast, bilge, fire-fighting and other marine systems.
- Coordinate with welders and supervisors during piping installation.
- Ensure proper alignment, measurements and joint preparation before welding.
- Assist in pressure testing, leak testing and inspection activities.
- Follow shipyard safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
