A Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at a construction site, ensuring projects are executed according to engineering drawings, on schedule, within quality standards, and in compliance with workplace safety norms.

- ​Reports To: Project Manager / Site Engineer / Project Lead
- ​Primary Role: Supervise workforce, monitor daily execution, track material usage, ensure safety, and report site progress.

​Key Responsibilities

​1. Daily Site Operations & Execution

- ​Supervise subcontractors, masons, bar benders, carpenters, and labor teams to execute daily tasks as per approved 2D/3D structural and architectural drawings.
- ​Coordinate the setup of site benchmarks, grid alignments, excavation depths, shuttering checks, and reinforcement steel placement before casting.
- ​Ensure proper curing schedules, concrete mix proportions, and slump testing during RCC work.
- ​Maintain an active Daily Progress Report (DPR) recording work completed, workforce count, equipment runtime, and weather delays.

​2. Material & Inventory Management

- ​Verify incoming material deliveries (cement, TMT steel, aggregates, bricks, sand, plumbing/electrical fixtures) against Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans.
- ​Check materials for visual quality, test certifications, and proper in office storage to prevent spoilage or damage (e.g., stacking cement bags off damp ground).
- ​Prevent wastage,



theft, and misuse of construction materials and site tools.
- ​Assist in logging site measurements and updating initial records in the Measurement Book (M-Book).

​3. Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)

- ​Conduct regular field inspections at every stage: foundation, plinth, lintel, slab casting, brickwork, plastering, tiling, and finishing.
- ​Ensure levels, plumb line, squareness (right angles), and surface finishes adhere strictly to specification tolerances.
- ​Flag construction defects or deviations immediately to the Site Engineer or Project Manager before secondary work begins.

​4. Safety & Health Compliance (HSE)

- ​Enforce mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE): helmets, safety shoes, reflective vests, and safety harnesses for work at heights.
- ​Inspect scaffolding, formwork supports, edge protections, temporary power connections, and excavation trenches for structural stability and hazard mitigation.
- ​Conduct morning site briefings (tool-box talks) to review daily hazards and safe handling procedures.

​5. Coordination & Reporting

- ​Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and municipal inspectors during periodic site visits.
- ​Act as the communication bridge between site labor and the project planning team.
- ​Track labor attendance, muster rolls, and assist in validating subcontractor measurement bills.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
