Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for managing all store operations related to road construction projects, including receipt, storage, issue, and inventory control of construction materials, tools, equipment, spare parts, fuel, and consumables. The role ensures material availability, accurate stock records, cost control, and compliance with company procedures.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management

- Maintain accurate stock records of all materials and equipment.
- Ensure proper receipt, inspection, and storage of materials.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification.
- Minimize material wastage, loss, and pilferage.

Documentation & Record Keeping

- Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and inventory software records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Keep records of material movements and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper filing of invoices, and store documents.

Equipment & Spare Parts Management

- Monitor inventory of machinery spare parts and maintenance items.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for spare parts requirements.
- Track usage and consumption patterns.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure safe storage of fuel, lubricants, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the store area.
- Follow company policies, safety regulations,



and audit requirements.

Coordination

- Work closely with procurement, project engineers, accounts, and site management.
- Support audits and internal inventory checks.
- Assist management in material planning and forecasting.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree
- Additional certification in Materials Management is preferred.

Experience

- 5-10 years of experience in store management, preferably in road construction, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
- Experience handling construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, bitumen, pipes, spare parts, and fuels, Mechanical Spares parts.

Working Conditions

- Site-based Monitoring role at road construction projects.
- May require extended working hours based on project requirements.
- Interaction with vendors, transporters, and project teams on a regular basis.
- This job profile is suitable for National Highway, Expressway, State Highway, and other road infrastructure projects.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
