HeSpoke Originals is looking for a hands-on, responsible and technically sound Garment Quality Controller / Quality Checker to manage quality across the entire production cycle, from fabric inspection and pre-production approvals to final inspection and dispatch.

The candidate must be capable of independently monitoring factory production, identifying defects, coordinating corrective actions and ensuring quality standards and delivery timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fabric & Pre-Production Quality

- Inspect fabric for defects, shrinkage, shade variation, GSM and other quality parameters.
- Check PP samples for measurements, construction, trims, labels and workmanship.
- Coordinate TOP samples, pilot runs, T&A; and CAD paper pattern development.
- Identify and resolve quality concerns before bulk production begins.

2. Production Quality Control

- Conduct regular factory visits and inline/midline inspections.
- Monitor stitching, measurements, garment construction, finishing and workmanship.
- Identify recurring defects, coordinate corrections and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor production progress against the agreed T&A; calendar.

3. Final Inspection & Dispatch

- Conduct Final Random Inspection (FRI) as per defined AQL standards.
- Verify measurements, appearance, finishing, packing and labelling.
- Approve or reject goods based on established quality standards.
- Hold production or dispatch when major quality issues are identified and escalate critical concerns directly to management.

4. Reporting & Delivery Management

- Maintain inspection reports, defect records and factory-wise quality records.




- Follow up on pending quality issues and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Monitor OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery without compromising product quality.

Experience & Skills Required

- Experience in men's apparel categories such as shirts, kurtas, trousers, jackets, blazers, waistcoats and shackets.
- Solid technical knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, stitching, finishing and measurements.
- Working knowledge of AQL, garment inspection procedures and quality standards.
- Understanding of shrinkage, shade variation, CAD paper patterns and pre-production approvals.
- Strong reporting, coordination, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, make timely decisions at factory level and travel regularly to manufacturing units across India.

Decision-Making Authority

The selected candidate will be empowered to:

- Stop production when major quality issues are identified.
- Hold dispatches when goods do not meet defined quality standards.
- Escalate critical quality concerns directly to management.
- Ensure corrective actions are completed before production or dispatch proceeds.
