Job Description – Civil Draftsman

Job Summary

Responsible for preparing, developing and modifying all types of civil engineering, architectural and structural drawings for residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate should have robust AutoCAD drafting skills and the ability to understand technical drawings and construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare all civil engineering and construction-related drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections and site layouts.
- Prepare structural drawings, including foundation, footing, column, beam and slab details.
- Prepare RCC detailing and reinforcement drawings.
- Prepare staircase, retaining wall and compound wall drawings.
- Prepare electrical, plumbing and drainage layout drawings.
- Prepare detailed working drawings for construction execution.
- Prepare road, site development and land layout drawings.
- Modify drawings based on engineer instructions and site requirements.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site measurements.
- Coordinate with architects,



civil engineers and site teams for drawing requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of dimensions, levels, measurements and technical specifications.
- Maintain drawing revisions, project files and documentation.
- Support the engineering team with technical drawings and detailing whenever required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of architectural, structural and civil engineering drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Knowledge of RCC detailing and construction methods.
- Knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
- Good technical drawing and measurement skills.

Preferred Skills

- Revit / SketchUp knowledge.
- BOQ preparation and quantity take-off knowledge.
- Practical site and construction drawing experience.

Reporting To: Civil Engineer / Project Manager.

Key Requirement: Must be capable of preparing all types of civil-related drawings, including architectural, structural, RCC, electrical, plumbing, drainage and detailed construction drawings.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
