Position: Scrub Nurse – Operation Theatre (OT)

Qualifications

- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM Nursing.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Relevant experience in Operation Theatre (OT) preferred.
- Freshers with good clinical knowledge may also apply.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operative procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile operating field.
- Handle and pass surgical instruments during procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilisation and infection control practices.
- Maintain OT equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Follow patient safety and surgical protocols.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and OT staff.

Eligibility

- Robust knowledge of surgical instruments and aseptic techniques.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in emergency and critical situations.
