Job Summary

Looking for an experienced SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in asset maintenance and plant maintenance processes. The consultant will be responsible for requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, implementation, and support of SAP EAM solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Asset Management / SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and experience integrating EAM processes with related SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with business stakeholders to understand asset management, maintenance, and reliability management requirements.
- Design and configure SAP EAM/PM solutions aligned with business processes.

- Maintenance Notifications
- Maintenance Orders
- Maintenance Plans
- Task Lists
- Work Centers
- Measuring Points and Counters
- Preventive and corrective maintenance

- Support maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, confirmation, and order closure processes.
- Perform fit-gap analysis and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, workflows, and forms.
- Collaborate with ABAP, integration, Basis, security, and other functional teams.
- Support integration of EAM with areas such as SAP MM, FI/CO, Project Systems (PS), and other relevant SAP functions.
- Support master-data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare and execute unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-production activities.
- Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution.
- Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, operating procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Participate in workshops and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.





Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP EAM / SAP PM.
- Good understanding of end-to-end maintenance processes covering:
- - Preventive Maintenance
- Corrective Maintenance
- Breakdown Maintenance
- Inspection/Maintenance Notifications
- Maintenance Order Management
- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

- Robust knowledge of technical objects, functional locations, equipment, task lists, maintenance plans, work centers, notifications, and orders.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Asset Management is preferred.
- Experience in cross-functional integration with MM, FI/CO and PS.
- Ability to prepare functional specifications and work effectively with SAP technical teams.
- Experience with SAP implementation and/or application support engagements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and customer-facing skills

Skill Requirements

- Typical target experience: 6–8+ years of overall SAP experience, with significant hands-on experience in SAP EAM/PM.
- At least one end-to-end SAP implementation or major rollout experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant SAP certification is an advantage.
- Experience in an SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation or migration program.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori applications for Asset Management.
- Knowledge of mobile maintenance/business processes would be an advantage.
- Experience working in asset-intensive industries such as Manufacturing, Automotive, Utilities, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience working in global SAP deployment and support environments
