About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join a new café and restaurant setup in Lucknow.

The ideal candidate should have strong coffee-making skills, expertise in espresso-based beverages, and practical experience in latte art and beverage development. The candidate should be capable of preparing high-quality beverages while maintaining consistency, presentation, and excellent hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and espresso-based beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano, and specialty coffee drinks.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other beverage preparation equipment.
- Demonstrate expertise in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and milk texturing.
- Create and present beverages with proper latte art.
- Assist in developing new coffee recipes, specialty beverages, and seasonal drink menus.
- Maintain consistency in beverage taste, quality, temperature, and presentation.
- Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and hygiene of coffee machines and beverage preparation areas.
- Monitor coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
- Manage beverage inventory and minimize wastage.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café counter and workstations.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service while handling beverage orders efficiently.
- Support the smooth functioning of beverage operations during the initial setup and ongoing operations.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of relevant Barista experience, preferably in cafés, specialty coffee shops, or restaurant environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of espresso-based beverages and coffee preparation techniques.
- Expertise in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Experience in beverage development and creating specialty coffee drinks.
- Good understanding of coffee beans, grind settings, brewing methods, and beverage quality.
- Ability to operate and maintain professional coffee machines and grinders.
- Knowledge of beverage hygiene, sanitation, and equipment cleaning standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality and consistency.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a full-time café or restaurant environment.
