Headed North Design Studio is a agile , architecture and interior design studio with feet in both Kolkata and Assam and now Hyderabad. We have a growing portfolio of residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces, a team that actually likes each other, and a genuine hunger to build something worth talking about.

We're looking for a Junior Architect to join our Hyderabad studio and grow with us ,not just work for us.

What you'll actually be doing

- Working shoulder-to-shoulder with senior architects on design concepts and 3D solutions (not just fetching coffee and CAD layers , though yes, some CAD layers)
- Preparing architectural drawings, plans, and specifications
- Helping build design presentations and proposals that actually win projects
- Digging into materials, building codes, and regulations so nothing blows up later (literally or figuratively)
- Sitting in on client meetings — your input counts, not just your attendance
- Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and vendors
- Getting out of the office for site visits and inspections (fresh air, occasionally)

What we're looking for

- B.Arch from a recognized university
- 1–2 years experience or fresh out and armed with a portfolio that makes us say "oh, nice"
- Comfortable with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape/ V-Ray, Photoshop, MS Office
- Someone who can present an idea, take feedback without flinching, and sweat the small details
- Team player energy , English and Hindi both work fine here. (make us learn Telugu)
- Proactive. We're small enough that "not my job" isn't really a sentence anyone says

Let's talk about the money

Honestly? At ₹15,000–₹25,000/month,

we're not going to pretend this is a Mercedes-and-penthouse offer. What we're offering instead is a seat at the table while the table is still being built real project exposure, real client-facing experience, and a growth path that moves as fast as you do. Prove yourself here, and the compensation conversation grows right along with your portfolio and your responsibilities.

If you're chasing a fat salary from day one, this probably isn't it. If you're chasing real design work, real ownership, and a firm that'll remember your name in the credits, keep reading.

What you get

- A studio where your ideas don't get lost in fifteen layers of hierarchy
- Exposure to residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, variety, not repetition
- Room to grow with the firm, not just at the firm
- A team that's collaborative, a little chaotic in the best way, and genuinely invested in good design

We're not looking for someone who checks every box on a template. We're looking for someone who wants to help write the next few chapters of a studio that's still figuring out how big it wants to become and wants to have a say in that.

Come build north with us.
