Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assembly Supervisor to manage and supervise machinery assembly operations. The candidate will be responsible for manpower management, production planning, material utilization, quality control and timely completion of assembly activities while ensuring safety and production standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise and control daily machinery assembly activities to achieve production targets.
- Manage manpower, materials, machines and working hours effectively.
- Supervise mechanical assembly, machine fitting, alignment and installation activities.
- Ensure assembly work is carried out as per engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Monitor production quality and coordinate with the Quality Control team to minimize defects and rework.
- Handle manpower allocation, team management and workmen productivity.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Design and Quality departments for smooth assembly operations.
- Monitor material availability and ensure proper utilization of resources.
- Identify production issues and implement effective problem-solving techniques.
- Maintain daily production reports, assembly records and quality documentation.
- Implement 5S, workplace safety and housekeeping standards in the assembly section.




- Ensure timely completion and delivery of machinery as per production schedules.

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge

- Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in machinery assembly, fitting and fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings.
- Knowledge of mechanical components, materials, grades and technical specifications.
- Understanding of quality control, inspection procedures and BIS standards.
- Manpower handling, team supervision and production planning.
- Knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) and quality documentation.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of 5S implementation and workplace safety.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering / machinery manufacturing industries.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in handling assembly teams and production manpower.
- Strong leadership and shop-floor management skills.
- Experience in industrial machinery, fabrication or equipment manufacturing preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
