Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – Asian Cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Asian cuisine, particularly Chinese, Thai and other popular Asian dishes, along with the ability to maintain food quality, consistency, hygiene and kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of Asian and Chinese dishes as per the resort's menu and standard recipes.
- Have good knowledge of Chinese, Thai and other Asian cooking techniques.
- Handle wok cooking, stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying and sauce preparation.
- Ensure proper food presentation, taste, portion control and consistency.
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain mise-en-place and ensure timely food preparation during service.
- Monitor food stock, ingredient quality and storage procedures.
- Follow FIFO, food safety standards and proper hygiene practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation.




- Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient utilization of ingredients.
- Support menu development, food trials and special buffet preparations.
- Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Asian/Chinese cuisine.
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort or reputed restaurant preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese and Asian cooking techniques.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Valuable understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen SOPs.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with experience in Chinese and Asian specialty kitchens.
- Knowledge of Thai, Oriental and Pan-Asian cuisine will be an advantage.
- Ability to maintain quality standards during high-volume operations.
