Role : Engineering Manager / Technical Lead – AI Builder & WIN Assessments

We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager / Technical Lead to help shape the future of our AI-powered learning and assessment platforms, AI Builder and WIN Assessments. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from the sidelines. We want a builder, an architect, a mentor, and a leader who can roll up their sleeves and ship products at startup speed.

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Do

- Lead a small, high-performing engineering team in a fast-paced product environment.

- Own architecture and technical decisions across the entire platform.
- Design and build AI-powered products that solve real customer problems.
- Work across the stack, from backend services and APIs to modern front-end experiences.
- Drive rapid experimentation, MVPs, and production releases.
- Leverage GenAI, LLMs, AI agents, and emerging technologies to accelerate product innovation.
- Collaborate directly with product leaders, UX designers, architects, and customers.
- Create a culture of ownership, engineering excellence, and continuous learning.

Skill Requirements

What We're Looking For

Experience

- 8+ years of software product engineering experience.

- Experience leading teams or serving as a technical lead in a startup, product company, or entrepreneurial workplace.




- Proven track record of building and shipping products rather than just maintaining them.
- Comfortable operating in environments where priorities evolve quickly and execution matters.

Must-Have Technical Skills

Polyglot Engineering Mindset

You should be comfortable moving across technologies and choosing the right tool for the problem.

Strong hands-on expertise in:

- Java

- Spring Boot
- Microservices Architecture
- React
- Node.js
- REST APIs
- SQL and NoSQL databases

Hands-on experience building applications leveraging:

- Generative AI

- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- AI Agents
- Agentic Workflows
- RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
- Prompt Engineering
- AI-assisted development tools
- AI-powered product features

We are looking for someone who uses AI to build software, not just someone who has experimented with ChatGPT.

Cloud & DevOps

Experience working with:

- Azure and/or AWS

- Docker
- Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
- Monitoring and observability platforms

Must Have Skill
