Job Title: Import Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Import Manager to manage the company's import operations, documentation, customs clearance, accounting, and banking activities. The candidate should have good knowledge of import procedures and hands-on experience with Tally.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage import shipments from order placement to final delivery.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain import documentation.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and Customs House Agents (CHAs).
- Track shipment status, vessel arrivals, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain import-related accounting entries in Tally and verify supplier invoices.
- Prepare import costing sheets, including customs duties, freight, port charges, CHA charges, and other applicable expenses.
- Reconcile supplier accounts, party balances, outstanding payments, and bank statements.
- Coordinate with banks for foreign remittances and Letters of Credit (LCs).




- Follow up on IDPMS closure and related banking compliance, wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper maintenance of import records and compliance with applicable customs and statutory requirements.
- Prepare import status reports, costing reports, and pending payment reports for management.
- Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in import operations.
- Hands-on experience with Tally is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of import documentation and customs clearance.
- Experience in import costing, bank reconciliation, and supplier reconciliation.
- Knowledge of LC payments and foreign remittances.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
