Transway Transport is a Canadian trucking company. We are hiring a remote HR Executive based in North India (Punjab, Haryana or Delhi) to manage the complete HR lifecycle of our Canadian truck drivers, from hiring and onboarding to compliance and exit. This is a 100% work-from-home role on a fixed night shift aligned with Canadian business hours.

Job Highlights

- Location: Fully remote / Work from home. Candidates must be based in North India (Punjab, Haryana or Delhi)
- Job Type: Full time, Permanent
- Shift: Night shift, approx. 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (Canadian business hours), Monday to Friday
- Salary: ₹25,000 to ₹50,000 per month, based on experience

Requirements

- Graduate; BBA / MBA (HR) or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in HR, recruitment or talent acquisition; international (Canada / US) recruitment experience preferred
- Experience in Canadian or US trucking / logistics HR is a strong advantage: Driver Qualification (DQ) files, safety documentation, payroll and termination paperwork
- Languages: English, Punjabi and Hindi
- Comfortable making high-volume phone calls to candidates in Canada
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets, email and job portals
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Willing to work a permanent night shift
- Own laptop, stable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace

Key Responsibilities

1. Driver Recruitment

- Post truck driver (AZ / Class 1) job ads on multiple platforms (Indeed, job boards, social media, etc.) and manage incoming leads
- Build and maintain a driver candidate database / tracker
- Conduct short telephonic screening interviews and shortlist qualified drivers
- Coordinate interviews, road tests and follow-ups with the Canadian operations team

2. Onboarding





- Collect and verify hiring documents: driver's licence, driver abstracts, CVOR / NSC records, medicals, background checks and work authorization
- Prepare offer letters and contracts, and get company policies signed
- Schedule orientation and training

3. Documentation & Safety Compliance

- Maintain complete, audit-ready Driver Qualification (DQ) files
- Manage safety documentation: Hours-of-Service / ELD records, incident and accident reports, training records and policy acknowledgements
- Track expiry dates (licences, medicals, permits) and send renewal reminders
- Support safety audits and compliance reviews

4. Post-Hire HR & Termination

- Handle driver HR queries, record updates, warnings and performance documentation
- Manage offboarding: exit paperwork, Record of Employment (ROE) coordination and file closure
- Maintain HR reports and trackers
