Role & responsibilities :

A. Quality Assurance

- Establish, implement and maintain the Company's QA systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with the MGBPL Quality Assurance Manual, SOPs, approved specifications and

customer requirements.

- Monitor quality from incoming materials through production, packing, storage and dispatch.
- Ensure proper inspection, testing and documentation at all critical stages.

B. Incoming Materials & Process Control

- Ensure proper inspection and approval of raw materials and packaging materials before use.
- Monitor tea blending, instant coffee packing, packing operations, line clearance, weight/filling and other

quality-critical processes.

- Conduct regular shop-floor quality inspections and identify deviations.
- Ensure material identification, segregation and traceability requirements are followed.

C. Calibration & Measurement Control

- Ensure periodic calibration/verification of all weighing scales, balances and other measuring instruments

used for production and quality control.

- Ensure periodic calibration/verification of load cells installed on production or process equipment,

wherever applicable.





- Ensure regular checking and verification of fillers and filling-weight controls on packing machines.
- Ensure weighing and measuring equipment is within the required accuracy limits before being used for

production or quality decisions.

- Maintain calibration/verification records and ensure prompt corrective action where any equipment is

found inaccurate.

D. Finished Product & Release

- Ensure finished products are inspected and tested against approved specifications before release.
- Place non-conforming material/product on HOLD, investigate deviations and ensure appropriate

disposition.

- Ensure that no product that does not meet the required acceptance criteria is released

5. KEY REQUIREMENT

The person must be a strong QA qualified first. Safety/HSE is an additional responsibility.

He/She should be capable of independently challenging Production wherever required and should

never compromise quality because of production targets, customer delivery commitments or

commercial pressure.
