- Install and commission CCTV cameras, recorders, monitors, and storage systems.
- Configure IP cameras, network video recorders, remote viewing, and user access.
- Run and terminate cables, mount equipment, and ensure installations are neat and safe.
- Test systems, explain basic operation to customers, and provide handover documentation.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with customers, project teams, and suppliers to complete work on schedule.
- Maintain accurate service reports, equipment records, and installation documentation.
- Follow health and safety procedures and protect customer data and site security.
Requirements
- Experience installing and maintaining CCTV or other security systems.
- Knowledge of IP networking, structured cabling, and CCTV equipment.
- Ability to use basic testing tools and troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues.
- Valuable communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working at customer sites.
- Relevant technical qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
- A valid driving licence may be required.
