Role Description The Plant Quality Incharge is responsible for overseeing all quality-related activities at the Ready Mix Concrete plant to ensure consistent product performance and compliance with relevant standards. This full-time, on-site role in Bhubaneswar involves monitoring mix designs, supervising batching operations, and conducting routine tests on raw materials and finished concrete. The role includes maintaining quality records, calibrating and verifying testing equipment, and implementing corrective actions for any deviations from specifications.

The Plant Quality

Incharge coordinates closely with plant operations, logistics,



and site technical teams to support timely deliveries and address customer quality concerns. The position also requires continuous improvement of quality processes, adherence to safety guidelines, and support in audits and inspections.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix design principles, and Ready Mix Concrete plant operations.
- Experience in quality control and assurance, including routine material testing, process monitoring, and documentation.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and test reports, and translate them into actionable plant practices.
- Proficiency in using laboratory and testing equipment related to aggregates, cement, admixtures, and fresh/hardened concrete.
- Sound understanding of safety, environmental, and compliance requirements in industrial or construction settings.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with plant staff, site engineers, and customers.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Materials, or a related technical field; prior RMC or construction industry experience is highly preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bhubaneswar and be available for plant and site visits as required.
