Role Description The Visiting Faculty of Mathematics will engage in full-time, on-site teaching and academic activities at the Ranchi campus.

Responsibilities include delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mathematics and related fields, preparing lesson plans, and using innovative pedagogical approaches to enhance student learning. The faculty member will design and update curricula,



set and evaluate assessments, guide student projects, and provide academic advising and mentoring. In addition, the role involves participating in departmental meetings, contributing to academic events, collaborating on research or scholarly activities, and supporting institutional initiatives aimed at academic excellence and industry relevance.

Qualifications

- Solid foundational and advanced knowledge in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics.
- Competence in related quantitative disciplines such as Physics and Statistics.
- Experience in Curriculum Development for university-level mathematics or related programs.
- Relevant postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Mathematics or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Prior teaching experience at the university level, with evidence of effective classroom instruction and student engagement.
- Ability to integrate research and practical applications into teaching, with a record of scholarly or industry-oriented work being an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a student-centered and inclusive approach to education.
- Commitment to academic integrity, professional ethics, and fostering a collaborative, respectful learning environment.
