Role Description The Video Editor Intern will support the creation of digital video content for news, entertainment, lifestyle, and local experience features. Day-to-day tasks include editing raw footage, trimming and arranging clips, adding transitions, audio, and visual effects, and ensuring brand consistency across all video outputs. The intern will assist with basic motion graphics, color correction,



and visual enhancements to improve overall quality and audience engagement.

The role also involves collaborating with content creators to understand briefs, adapting videos for multiple platforms, and managing video assets and file organization. This is a remote internship role, offering hands-on experience in digital media production and editing.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational skills in Video Editing and Video Production.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading and basic visual enhancements.
- Experience or interest in Motion Graphics and simple animations.
- Basic understanding of Graphics for social media and digital platforms.
- Familiarity with common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a keen visual sense for storytelling.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and willingness to receive and apply feedback.
- Current student or recent graduate in film, media, communications, or a related field is preferred.
