About ChitraGeek Studios

ChitraGeek Studios is a photography and film studio that has spent 7+ years capturing life's biggest moments: baby, maternity, pre wedding and event shoots across Varanasi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Goa, Pune, Udaipur and Jaipur. With 400+ online reviews, we're known for cinematic storytelling and a hassle-free client experience.

ChitraGeek is a sister company of Scale Delight, the Mumbai-based digital marketing, branding and web development agency that runs ChitraGeek's digital presence. This role is based at the Scale Delight office in Kandivali West, so you'll work alongside its creative, social media and performance teams.

The role

Our shoot teams capture the raw moments across cities. You'll turn that footage into cinematic films and reels our clients love to share. You'll be our central editor, working from the shooters' briefs and, when needed, directly with clients.

What you'll do

- Edit pre wedding cinematic films of up to about 3 minutes

- Cut Instagram reels and teasers for clients and for ChitraGeek's own Instagram
- Create baby, maternity and event highlight videos and BTS reels
- Handle colour grading, music selection, sound clean-up and sync
- Edit from the shoot teams' concept briefs and coordinate with shooters in each city
- Speak with clients to understand their brief and preferences when needed
- Organise raw footage across SSDs and drives, keep backups and archive finished projects

What we're looking for

- 1 to 3 years of video editing experience, ideally with wedding, pre wedding or lifestyle content
- Solid command of Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro
- Hands-on experience editing drone footage into films and reels
- A good sense of pacing, music and storytelling, with an eye on current reel trends
- Clear communication in Hindi and English for client and team calls
- Organised with files and reliable on delivery timelines

How to apply

Apply through LinkedIn with a link to your showreel or portfolio. Applications without a showreel won't be considered.
